The Georgian National Museum conducts scientific, research and educational activities and has an equal opportunity HR policy.

The GNM is committed to a programme of action to ensure that the equalities policies are implemented and monitored at an organisational and individual level.

Volunteers are very important to the GNM and their commitment is highly appreciated across the different departments. The GNM is committed to providing meaningful, enjoyable and safe volunteer assignments of real value within clear and appropriate programmes of activities, creating favorable conditions for improving their skills and educational level. Volunteers do not have the authority to represent themselves as spokespersons for the GNM, to make contracts for the GNM or make any other commitment on its behalf. The GNM's decision on suitability of a prospective volunteer is absolute and final. 

Who can apply:

  • Persons with a secondary and/or higher education interested in museums and museum activities;
  • Persons having a recommendation from their relevant school/university;

All applicants should:

  • be motivated to work and deepen their knowledge
  • have a general knowledge about the museum activities and mission
  • be responsible and punctual
  • have computer skills
  • know foreign languages (if required)
