Museum Week: Classical Music Evening in the Museum`s Courtyard

Music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Benjamin Britten, Astor Piazzolla, Niccolo Paganini, Sergei Prokofiev, Glenn Miller, Charlie Chaplin and Giya Kancheli at the Museum's courtyard! On the International Museum Day, May 18, at 7:30 pm, Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School and the Georgian National Museum invite you to the classical music evening.

May 18 is International Museum Day!Every year since 1977, ICOM (International Community of Museums) organizes International Museum Day. On this day, participating museums plan creative events and activities - exhibitions, educational programs, scientific conferences, lectures and many more. The theme of the year is "Museums and Contested Histories: Saying Unspeakable in museums".

Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival

Georgian National Museum invites you to the Latin American and Caribbean Film Festival which is dedicated to the 25 years anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Argentina. The event will be held under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia on April 29-20, 2017.

First Colombian Film Festival in Tbilisi

Georgian National Museum hosts the Colombian Week in Georgia on March 29-31, 2017. In the frames of the event, the exhibition "Introduction of Goldsmithery in Pre-Hispanic Colombia" and the first Colombian Film Festival will be held at the Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia.
