Museum: Svaneti Museum

Georgian National Museum Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography invites you to the joint exhibition "Fragments from History" by Keti Matabeli and Gia Gugushvili. The opening event will take place on September 9, 2016 at 3 pm.

The exhibition will showcase artworks by Keti Matabeli created in different times, including the series "Folianti". Also, at the exposition will be displayed the part of the program "I See with my Fingers" which was already presented at GNM Simon Janashia Museum of Georgia. Visitors will have the possibility to see the paintings by the artist Gia Gugushvili.

On September 10, at 11 am, in the framework of "Museum Talks", a meeting with the artists will be held. Keti Matabeli will lead the master-class "The Knight in the Panther's Skin by Shota Rustaveli in Modern Era". (Svaneti Museum Auditorium)

The exhibition "Fragments from history" will last until November 9, 2016.
