Museum: Museum Of Fine Arts

On the occasion of the International Day of Museums Georgian National Museum Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts invites you at the opening of Vitali Kapanadze's 70 years anniversary exhibition. Opening event will take place on 17th of May 2015 at 5 p.m.

At the exposition will be showcased about 200 paintings. Vitali Kapanadze, laureate of David Kakabadze's prize, has repeatedly exhibited his works at the international, group and solo exhibitions. Fine Arts Museum will host author's most comprehensive solo exhibition, where painters almost every genre and stage will be presented.

Since 1974 painter has become the member of the Artists Union and was awarded with the Order of Honor, prizes for the best work of the year as well as the best artist of the year.

Part of the authors works are preserved in Russia, Moscow at the State Tretyakov Gallery and at the Museum of Friendship of Eastern Nations. Also, at the Newport Art Museum, David Kakabadze Fine Art Gallery in Kutaisi, Stalin Museum and in the private collections around the world.

The exhibition will last until 7^th of June, 2015.
