Opening of the Georgian National Museum Auditorium
Today, the Georgian National Museum officially opened it's renovated auditorium in the Georgian National Museum in Tbilisi. It was designed by the French company Studio Milou and funded by BP.
The new multifunctional auditorium welcomes people of all ages and opens up a world of history and science, art and culture through lectures, presentations, discussions, film screenings and concerts.
The auditorium, equipped with the state-of-the art audio and video technology, is a unique education facility modeled on the British Museum's ‘BP Lecture Theatre'. BP's social investment programme in Georgia not only covers its communities living near to its operations but also for arts and cultural institutions, including the Georgian National Museum.
The new auditorium facilitates the Museum's relationship with public and the most and the foremost, Georgia's young generation. The website and the newsletter produced by the Education Center will also support auditorium activities.
