Hirotake Maeda – Exploring Georgian and Caucasian World 1995-2005

Georgian National Museum Ioseb Grishashvili Tbilisi History Museum invites you at the photo exhibition by Hirotake Maeda. The opening event will take place on 10th of December at 06:30 p.m.

Hirotake Maeda is a philologist; he also concentrates in Georgian studies and is an amateur photographer from Japan.The exposition will showcase author's works from his 20 years long exploration and photo project taking place in the different regions of Georgia. Maeda's photos describe details that help us understand how Georgian culture and identity were shaped in within the centuries.

For many years, with such projects, Georgian National Museum promotes cultural cooperation between Georgia and Japan.

The exhibition will last until January 5th, 2016.
