Georgian National Museum Tbilisi History Museum invites you at the opening of the exhibition “Modern Georgian Graphic”  from the postcard series – “Georgian painters”.

Event will take place on 9 of July 2014, at 6 p.m.

Exposition will present  graphic works of Irakli Parjiani, Esma Oniani, Rusudan Petviashvili, Irakli Chikovani, Berdia Arabuli, Leila Grigolia, Tea Soselia, Tato Akhalkatsishvili, Nino Injia, Nino Kobaidze, Tedo Rekhviashvili, Irakli Toklishvili, Giorgi Gatserelia, Teona Dogonadze, Otar Buleishvili.

The Artanuji publishing has gathered modern graphics of well known Georgian painters and issued it as a postcards. To unite graphic works of different generation graphic artists, with their thematically distinguishing, similar but at the same time exceptional visions is the best way for popularization of Georgian culture.  Georgian graphic artists are famous for exceptional skills which makes Georgian graphic school noticeable worldwide. Together with graphic works, postcards will be displayed at the exposition.

Exhibition widely exposes the connection between art and Country’s popularization process and it highlights artistic and historical significance of modern Georgian graphics.
