Georgian National Museum Tbilisi History Museum presents exhibition "Station" by debutant painter Teo Kokhodze. Opening event will take place on 29 June 2014, at 5 p.m.

In 2013 Teo Kokhodze graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and attended master class in Germany. She is new representative of contemporary art movement in Georgia and can be defined by her distinguishing individualism and deep knowledge of painting. Exposition will represent almost twenty pictorial works.

Inspiration behind project "station" is linked to author's biography; she mentions that it is similar to wheel. Author has exactly the same association while watching carriage wheels, trains and stations. All her works are very expressive with its emotions and essence but it also has fatal signs. Georgian and German stations depicted in the pictures offer totally different view. "Stations" in this project has symbolical meaning which exposes painter's thoughts.
