Museum: Tbilisi History Museum

On March 5, 2013 at 4 pm Georgian National Museum Tbilisi History Museum presents the exhibition of Shota Orvelashvili "Choice".

The exhibition presents the works that are created in different period, during Shota Orvelashvili's secular life. Today he is a priest.

In the paintings one can see the gift of metaphoric thinking. These works are created in portrait and other genres: "Peter", "Lost Game", "Housewife", "Hierarchical paradox", "Ancestors", "Doubt", "Emigrants", "Choice", and many more. They expose the artist's attitude towards the subjects and spiritual values​​.

Shota Orvelashvili studied at Tbilisi I. Nikoladze college of fine arts. He had exhibitions in Tbilisi, was a participant in group exhibitions in "Artist's House" and gallery, also, Shota Orvelashvili is a member of Artists' Union. Some of his works are kept, in private collections in Russia, Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Greece.

The project aim is to provide Shota Orvelashvili's painting to viewers, as it influence people to see ordinary objects differently.

The exhibition will last until March 15, 2013
