Manana Tumanishvili’s Personal Exhibition

Georgian National Museum Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts invites you at the opening of the exhibition by Manana Tumanishvili. Opening event will take place on December 9, at 6 p.m.

Manana Tumanishvili graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, faculty of graphics. In 1966-2010 she was teaching history of art at the faculty of fine arts and watercolor using technique at the faculty of architecture. She is actively participating in different exhibitions in Georgia and abroad. Her artworks are preserved at Georgian National Museum Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Art, at Kutaisi Museum of Fine Arts, in different private collections both in Georgia and outside of the country.

First personal exhibition of an author was held in 1997 in Georgia and in 2001 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Manana Tumanishvili's artwork "Foggy Mountains" was named as the artwork of the year in 1997.

The exhibition will showcase about 60 works by author executed in watercolor technique.

The exhibition will last until 19th of January, 2015.
