Exhibition of Georgian Weaponry

Georgian National Museum Simon Janashia Musem of Georgia invites you at the exhibition of Georgian Weaponry from May 28, 2013.

The exposition "Georgian Weaponry" acquaints the visitor with a considerable quantity of various types of arms of the 17th - second half of the 20th century. The attention is paid toedtention is giveorgian arms. the most widespread type of weapon which was made on the Georgian-Caucasian technology.

More than 150 ethnographic items which were variously added to the museum funds are exposed on the exhibition. They are: sabers, daggers, guns, pistols and a considerable part of the collection of the offensive and defensive weapon.

The important place is given to imperial exhibits of memorial type and a gun, cast in Tbilisi in the18-th century.
